There are so many choices when it comes to designing window treatments. One idea that’s often overlooked are Roman Shades. They’re simply fabric shades that hang flat against the window when closed and fold up in horizontal pleats when raised. The shades can be mounted inside the window frame (like the photo on the left) or as an outside mount (on the right).
