Which color design style do you prefer? Contrast or monochromatic?
Shades of cream and grey create a soothing, relaxing reading nook. Although each item in this space seem totally unrelated, they all work together because of color. I love the contrast of the traditional French chair with the zebra rug and rustic stone side table. The photo of the horse is beautiful and unexpected.
If you are more adventurous, you will love the contrast of chocolate brown walls with the fuchsia love seat. What an impact this grouping makes as you enter the house. The traditional styled loveseat upholstered in an unexpected color makes a big impact.
There are no right or wrong answers. I would love to know which one you prefer. Vote in the comment section below. I’ll let you know the winning combination.
I love neutral colors, but love color even more (I’m a painter!)
so I’d have to go with contrast.
Looking forward to seeing how the vote goes. 🙂
Wishing you all the best,

I will go for monochromatic.
I loved your flower pictures

I’m a colour kind of gal — I really love that fuschia couch against the dark walls!
I love them both! It just depends on what I want the room to feel like. Your photos are beautiful! I found your blog via the BYW 2.0 blog train. I’m looking forward to following you!
I know, it’s hard to make a choice. If I could only choose one, contrast suits me best!
Thanks for voting. I love contrast too.
